Furniture design has been an essential part of my life since I was a child. Growing up on my grandparents farm, things like playing with scrap materials, tinkering with machines and making Granny's juice-can-ottoman was just the the way I kept myself busy.
My relationship with furniture is different. I think of myself as a problem solver, one who can balance sculptural form, utility, and balance with actual function. My focus is on creating furniture for the masses, public spaces, young adults and the young at heart. No matter what route I take, I always aim to make something better by way of my design.
